Dr. James Andrews, who recently performed surgery on Brett Favre’s partially torn bicep tendon, says Favre wants to play this year. “He wants to play and he wants to play for the Minnesota Vikings. He wants to end his career on a high note and I hope he can. He’s a tough guy, a great guy. I’m pulling for him. He wants to play. He just wants to make sure his shoulder and arm are healthy enough.”
NFG - If Favre plays for Minnesota this season, it could be bad for Adrian Peterson fans. Favre is to end his career on a high note, he will want to pass for touchdowns. Peterson does not get a lot of passes and he ranges 10 to 12 TD's a season. It would hurt his fantasy value to lose some of those TD's to Brett Favre.
