Why NFL Fantasy Guide?

WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.

However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

Dallas Cowboys Fantasy Players

Quarterback - Tony Romo - (Position Rank - 17)
(Passing) 3,400 Yards, 25 TD, 15 IT, 22 Sacks
(Rushing) 60 Yards, 0 TD, 6 Fumbles
There seems to be a love fest for Tony Romo in the fantasy football world. Yes he has shown signs of greatness in the past, but he is not prone to putting up great fantasy numbers. However much of a locker room problem T.Owens was, he still drew a lot of defensive attention and opened up other parts of the game. Coming from someone who has watched every game Roy Williams had in Detroit, the man is not near as good as Owens was.

Running Back - Marion Barber - (Position Rank -17)
(Rushing) 1000 Yards, 9 TD, 2 Fumbles
(Receiving) 50 Catches, 400 Yards, 2 TD
Beware, this ranking may be too good for Barber. These projections were done on the belief of what he has done in the past. It is looking more and more like Felix Jones could get a lot of carries and thus diminishing Barber's value.

Wide Receiver - Roy Williams - (Position Rank - 31)
(Receiving) 65 Catches, 850 Yards, 7 TD, 1 Fumble
Even in years where Kitna threw over 4,000 yards, Williams never reached elite status as a receiver. Last season he nearly imploded with dropped passes. Now there are rumors that Roy may not be the top receiver for Dallas this year, but it may end up being Austin Miles instead.

Wide Receiver - Patrick Crayton - (Position Rank - 36)
(Receiving) 60 Catches, 850 Yards, 6 TD, 0 Fumbles
This ranking and projections could see a dramatic change for the worse in coming weeks. There is word that Miles has the speed to replace Owens' deep routes and may get in the game a lot. Pay close attention to the receiving corps in Dallas in the coming weeks.

Tight End - Jason Witten - (Position Rank - 2)
(Receiving) 90 Catches, 1,000 Yards, 6 TD, 0 Fumbles
Witten is Romo's go to receiver if there is one. I originally had Witten as #1 and the only reason I changed it is because I believe a healthy Gates and Tomlinson will give Gates a better season. There would be nothing wrong with taking Witten as the first tight end off the board in your draft.
