Why NFL Fantasy Guide?

WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.

However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

NFL Fantasy Guide
Questions

Often in the preseason, there are questions about players. Injuries, position battles and anything that might effect the Fantasy Football Player Rankings. Here I will address some of them.

Indianapolis Colts Fantasy Players

Quarterback - Peyton Manning - (Position Rank - 3)
(Passing) 3,900 Yards, 27 TD, 14 IT, 30 Sacks
(Rushing) 170 Yards, 3 TD, 3 Fumbles
Consistently one of the best fantasy football quarterbacks every season, Manning is facing a season with a question mark for the first time. For his first time, Manning has to get accustomed to a new coordinator. Even with that question mark, I would be more than glad to end up with the older Manning brother on my team.

Running Back - Joseph Addai - (Position Rank - 33)
(Rushing) 550 Yards, 6 TD, 1 Fumbles
(Receiving) 25 Catches, 200 Yards, 2 TD
The Colts brass was not happy with Joseph Addai last year and drafted a running back in this years draft because of it. Right now it looks to be a share time between the two.

Running Back - Donald Brown - (Position Rank - 34)
(Rushing) 650 Yards, 6 TD, 1 Fumbles
(Receiving) 10 Catches, 50 Yards, 0 TD
Until I learn different, I am expecting Brown to get around half of the carries but most of the running back receptions will go to Addai. Never one to wish anyone to get hurt, I also have to admit, the best thing in fantasy would be if one of these two did get hurt. If they both stay healthy, their value will stay at a minimum.

Wide Receiver - Reggie Wayne - (Position Rank - 9)
(Receiving) 85 Catches, 1,200 Yards, 8 TD, 1 Fumble
Reggie Wayne has shown he can handle being the star receiver and there is no reason to belive he wont repeat last years performance.

Wide Receiver - Anthony Gonzalez - (Position Rank - 32)
(Receiving) 70 Catches, 900 Yards, 6 TD, 1 Fumbles
With Wayne and TE - Dallas Clark drawing so much attention, Gonzalez should find himself open quite often.

Tight End - Dallas Clark - (Position Rank - 4)
(Receiving) 70 Catches, 800 Yards, 7 TD, 1 Fumbles
If the Colts had a true star running back for defenses to worry about, along with their great receivers, Dallas Clark could be a top 3 Tight End. Until Addai or Brown prove themselves he will have to settle for #4 in the NFL.
