Why NFL Fantasy Guide?

WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.

However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Players

Quarterback - David Gerrard - (Position Rank - 9)
(Passing) 3,500 Yards, 16 TD, 12 IT, 40 Sacks
(Rushing) 300 Yards, 2 TD, 3 Fumbles
While many lift up Schaub this season, it is Gerrard I believe is ranked too low. In 2008 he made it through the entire season healthy and had a decent year. Though his touchdowns are a little on the low side for my taste, what lifts him up is his rushing. He will run for more yards than most of the quarterbacks in the NFL.

Running Back - Maurice Jones-Drew - (Position Rank - 2)
(Rushing) 1,150 Yards, 13 TD, 3 Fumbles
(Receiving) 65 Catches, 550 Yards, 2 TD
Many are afraid Jones-Drew might not hold up to the full load with his 5'7" frame. What they forget is that his 5'7" are compacted into 208 pounds. He is a tough player and I would be willing to bet he can handle the load. What lifts him up to the #2 running back ranking is his receiving abilities. Few running backs, if any, will gain more yards in receptions.

Wide Receiver - Torry Holt - (Position Rank - 34)
(Receiving) 75 Catches, 950 Yards, 5 TD, 1 Fumble
This is definitely the Jaguars weak spot. Tory Holt should give them a lift but they have no dependable second receiver to take some of the pressure off of Holt.
