Why NFL Fantasy Guide?

WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.

However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

NFL Fantasy Guide
Questions

Often in the preseason, there are questions about players. Injuries, position battles and anything that might effect the Fantasy Football Player Rankings. Here I will address some of them.

San Fransisco 49ers Fantasy Players

Quarterback - Shaun Hill - (Position Rank - 29)
(Passing) NA
(Rushing) NA
On a team with bad quarterbacks, Hill barely beat out Alex Smith for the job. It didn't matter. Neither is worthy of fantasy consideration.

Running Back - Frank Gore - (Position Rank - 13)

(Rushing) 1,140 Yards, 8 TD, 3 Fumbles
(Receiving) 50 Catches, 440 Yards, 2 TD
Gore has star ability but plays on a bad team. With no real passing attack, defenses line up 8 men in the box to stop SF's only real threat. Rookie running back, Glen Coffee, is only worthy of a handcuff in case Gore gets injured.

Wide Receiver - Isaac Bruce - (Position Rank - 26)
(Receiving) 60 Catches, 900 Yards, 8 TD, 0 Fumbles
Originally I had Bruce ranked way down at 41st receiver on the list. With Crabtree's holdout, Bruce will get more passes his way and thus he moves up the rankings.

Wide Receiver - Josh Morgan - (Position Rank - 56)
(Receiving) 50 Catches, 650 Yards, 7 TD, 0 Fumbles
The only reason Morgan is listed in here is because Crabtree is still not signed. He is not really worth drafting except on very late round fliers. If for some reason he breaks out, you can always pick him up if you are quick.
