Why NFL Fantasy Guide?

WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.

However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

Green Bay Packers Fantasy Players

Quarterback - Aaron Rodgers - (Position Rank - 1)
(Passing) 3,900 Yards, 27 TD, 14 IT, 30 Sacks
(Rushing) 170 Yards, 3 TD, 3 Fumbles
Yes it may sound too much to rank Rodgers as the #1 QB overall. However, there are too many question marks with the other top quarterbacks. Brady coming back from injury, Manning with a new offensive coordinator. Brees may be better but I am high on Rodgers this season as the coaches are expected to let him loose with deep passes more often this season.

Running Back - Ryan Grant - (Position Rank -19)
(Rushing) 1,300 Yards, 7 TD, 3 Fumbles
(Receiving) 20 Catches, 120 Yards, 1 TD
Grant was hindered by some nagging injuries in 2008. He is healthy now and expects to have a big season. It is possible he may reach double digit touchdowns but I dont expect him to break much more than 13oo yards. Right now he is 19th in running backs, but he may well play better than that.

Wide Receiver - Greg Jennings - (Position Rank - 3)
(Receiving) 85 Catches, 1,300 Yards, 10 TD, 1 Fumble
Jennings has entrenched himself as one of the premiere fantasy receivers. He is on a pass happy team, has a good quarterback throwing to him and has a decent running game to take some of the defense's attention.

Wide Receiver - Donald Driver - (Position Rank - 23)
(Receiving) 77 Catches, 1,030 Yards, 5 TD, 0 Fumbles
The only thing keeping Driver from being an elite is his lack of touchdowns. If Jennings is to go down, Driver is a very good one to have. Even with Jennings healthy, Driver is still a worthy #2 receiver for your fantasy football team.

Tight End - Donald Lee - (Position Rank - 18)
(Receiving) 45 Catches, 450 Yards, 5 TD, 0 Fumbles
Donald Lee's stats were very similar for two straight seasons. We have seen what he can do and that is right around 450 yards and 5 TD's. Don't be surprised if he loses his starting position to Jermichael Finley.

Tight End - Jermichael Finley - (Position Rank - NA)
(Receiving) NA
Finley is an ex-hoops player who has the athleticism to become one more TE star. Right now he is ranked behind Lee in Green Bay's depth chart, but he has the ability to become a top receiver for Rodgers when Jennings is covered. Take him late in your draft and be happy when he starts putting up numbers.
