Why NFL Fantasy Guide?

WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.

However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

NFL Fantasy Guide
Questions

Often in the preseason, there are questions about players. Injuries, position battles and anything that might effect the Fantasy Football Player Rankings. Here I will address some of them.

Cincinnati Bengals Fantasy Players

Quarterback - Carson Palmer - (Position Rank - 8)
(Passing) 4,000 Yards, 27 TD, 19 IT, 40 Sacks
(Rushing) 35 Yards, 0 TD, 3 Fumbles
With a recent injury history, many are not expecting Palmer to be much. The loss of TJ only adds to that perception. Don't be fooled though. The Bengals got a solid receiver to replace TJ in Laveranues Coles and Palmer is getting healthier as he goes. If he gets all of his arm strength back, he may surprise a lot of people.

Running Back - Cedric Benson - (Position Rank - 32)
(Rushing) 900 Yards, 4 TD, 2Fumbles
(Receiving) 25 Catches, 200 Yards, 0 TD
Right now I have him ranked 32nd for Running backs. This ranking might improve as the preseason crawls by. Word is that Benson is feeling good and has committed himself to having a good year. He has the passing game to take some pressure off of him to help him out.

Wide Receiver - Chad Ochocinco - (Position Rank - 15)
(Receiving) 80 Catches, 1,150 Yards, 6 TD, 1 Fumble
The man who used to be Chad Johnson is a curious case. He can be as good as he allows himself to be. However, he just doesn't seem to always be there mentally. He is either complaining, showboating or mouthing off. Yet as the 15th ranked receiver, he just may end up being a steal.

Wide Receiver - Laveranues Coles - (Position Rank - 21)
(Receiving) 80 Catches, 920 Yards, 7 TD, 0 Fumbles
Taking TJ Houshmandzadeh's place, Coles seems to have been written off as my 21st ranking is much better than many other sites have him. In a predominantly passing offense, with Ochocinco taking the heat off of him, Coles might have a good year.
