Why NFL Fantasy Guide?

WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.

However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

NFL Fantasy Guide
Questions

Often in the preseason, there are questions about players. Injuries, position battles and anything that might effect the Fantasy Football Player Rankings. Here I will address some of them.

Tennessee Titans Fantasy Players

Quarterback - Kerry Collins - (Position Rank - 25)
(Passing) 2,800 Yards, 14 TD, 8 IT, 30 Sacks
(Rushing) 50 Yards, 0 TD, 1 Fumbles
I like Kerry Collins. I really do. I think he is an underrated quarterback. Unfortunately, when it comes to Fantasy Football, I keep away from him. The Titans are a very predominantly running team and they will not depend on Collins passing much. They have a great defense and great running game so they are often in the lead, so Collins doesnt need to pass as much.

Running Back - Chris Johnson - (Position Rank - 7)

(Rushing) 1,350 Yards, 10 TD, 1 Fumbles
(Receiving) 45 Catches, 280 Yards, 1 TD
Chris Johnson showed last season he is one of the elite running backs in the game. The only reason he is not ranked much higher is because he is held back by Lendell White, who will steal some carries and scoring chances. If White ever goes down, Johnson becomes a top 4 running back.

Running Back - Lendell White - (Position Rank - 25)
(Rushing) 750 Yards, 14 TD, 1 Fumbles
(Receiving) 5 Catches, 20 Yards, 0 TD
Even on a limited role, White puts up decent fantasy numbers. He is a good to have as a third running back. He will put up his usual numbers and if anything should happen to Chris Johnson, White skyrockets to a top level running back.

Wide Receiver - Nate Washington - (Position Rank - 29)
(Receiving) 60 Catches, 900 Yards, 6 TD, 0 Fumbles
Nate Washington entered Tennessee as their top receiver, but has gone down with a hamstring injury that will keep him out for the rest of the preseason and possibly the first week against the Steelers. You can expect it to take him a couple weeks to get up to par when he does return as well.

Wide Receiver - Justin Gage - (Position Rank - 45)
(Receiving) 60 Catches, 740 Yards, 6 TD, 0 Fumbles
Gage is a middle of the pack receiver. Not great, but not bad either. Maybe slightly better than average. The good on him is that he may be the go to receiver for Collins for the first few weeks until Washington gets back to full speed.
