Quarterback - Byron Leftwich - (Position Rank - 34)
(Passing) 3,000 Yards, 17 TD, 14 IT, 40 Sacks
(Rushing) 120 Yards, 1 TD, 2 Fumbles
Leftwich finally gets another chance to start. Now he just needs to stay healthy. He has a good receiver to throw to in Antonio Bryant but one receiver does not make a passing game.
Running Back - Geidra - (Position Rank - NA)
(Rushing) NA
(Receiving) NA
Yup, you read that right. Geidra is not the Bucs running back. At least he might as well be since Derrick Ward, Earnest Graham and Carnell Williams makes up a three headed monster anyway. I am not sure how the word "Monster" is to be taken either. The three of them together could be a monster running attack for any defense to face, but it is also a monster no fantasy owner wants to face either.
Wide Receiver - Antonio Bryant - (Position Rank - 10)
(Receiving) 85 Catches, 1,250 Yards, 7 TD, 1 Fumbles
Tampa Bay is a decent team but not a real good team. They will find themselves behind quite often and Bryant should be the recipient of most of the passes.
Wide Receiver - Michael Clayton - (Position Rank - 72)
(Receiving) 45 Catches, 550 Yards, 3 TD, 0 Fumbles
When it comes to receivers, there are not a lot of sleepers in the late rounds. Clayton has as much chance of having a decent season as most who will be available in the latest rounds.
Why NFL Fantasy Guide?
WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.
However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

Byron Leftwich (QB) - 08/16/2009
In Tampa Bay's preseason game, Byron Leftwich clearly looked the top choice at quarterback. He played better than the other quarterbacks and the team seemed to have more confidence as well.
NFG - It sounds as if Leftwich is the early leader to start the season at quarterback, but there are still three more weeks in the preseason. Week 3 is considered the dress rehearsal for the starters and we should find out by then if he will indeed be the starter.

Antonio Bryant (WR) - 08/12/2009
Antonio Bryant is expected to miss about three weeks after having his kneescoped. Though it sounds like he might be ready in time for the third preseason game, coach Morris has indicated that he might play it safe and hold Bryant out of any game action until the season starts.
NFG - This is good news that Bryant will be healthy by week-1, however this also means that when the season starts, Bryant will still not have seen any real game speed action. I would still expect a little bit of a slow start for Bryant this season.

Antonio Bryant (WR) - 08/10/2009
Tamp Bay wife receiver, Antonio Bryant, will miss the pre-season with a knee injury. He will not play in any preseason games but is expected to be ready by the first week of the regular season.
NFG - If everything goes right and he does return by week-1, the fact he did not play with his team in the preseason might still hurt him some. It could take a couple of weeks for him and his quarterback to get their timing together. Draft him with it in mind that he might have a slow start to the season.

Antonio Bryant (WR) - 08/07/2009
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver, Antonio Bryant caught a pass down the left sideline and was gang tackled. The very next play, Bryant beat cornerback, E.J.Biggers, then made a one handed catch for a 40 yard plus touchdown.
NFG - This is a good sign that Bryant is healthy and ready for a good season. With Leftwich now throwing the ball to him, one must consider him a good player to target in your fantasy drafts.
