Why NFL Fantasy Guide?

WE ARE SORRY: Due to the overwhelming time it takes to keep up with Fantasy Stats, I am no longer creating up to date draft lists and such on this blog.

However, I would like to remind you that the articles are for the most part still good advice to keep to heart when playing Fantasy Football.

Maurice Jones-Drew (RB) - 09/04/2009

Jones-Drew caught a pass on a slant and then was hit in the lower legs by a defensive back. X-Rays were negative and it looks like he just took a bone bruise to the lower leg but Jones-Drew may be slightly hampered when the season starts.

NFG - It is one of the fears the Jones-Drew critics have pointed out. His smaller frame might not be able to take a full load. I wouldn't worry about that however. This was more than likely a fluke thing. What I would worry about more is his attitude after the hit. Jones-Drew took exception to a low hit and wanted at the players who hit him. How many times have were heard announcers saying that the way to tackle a strong running back is to go low to the legs? Otherwards he will run through too many tackles. So for him to get upset that he was tackled low just doesnt make sense. I hope this is not the first signs of a diva attitude forming.
