Brett Favre is now practicing with the Minnesota Vikings and is expected to start this Friday's preseason game.
NFG - First he retires then he returns, then he retires and then he returns. So now Favre plays for the Vikings.... for how long? This will have several effects on fantasy football. Minnesota's receivers should be jumping for joy because their fantasy value just jumped a couple notches. Adrian Peterson should be glad because defenses will have to respect the pass more. Peterson may also be effected negatively because in the red zone, Favre will get the call to throw more touchdowns, taking scoring chances away from Adrian. However, don't expect Favre to light things up. He is not as good as he once was. He will be much better than Sage would have been but I do not expect him to be a top Quarterback in fantasy.
